Vilja Achté is an artist and educator. Her practice centres around creating digital storyworlds that translate into videos, navigable environments, web works, images and writing. She works as a university teacher in Visual Communication Design at Aalto University, focusing on image-based thinking and agency. In addition, she is a practice-led doctoral researcher in New Media (2023-) at Aalto University. She holds an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art (2016) and a BA in Graphic and Media Design from the University of the Arts London (2014).
